The Robert Nairn Highland Dance Band were delighted to be announced winners of the Scottish Dance Band of the Year category at the Trad Awards in Perth this year. A big thank you to every one who voted for us and well done to the other three bands in our category and all other nominees.

- Robert Nairn on button accordion and melodeon.
- James MacKenzie on Highland bagpipe, chanter and flute.
- Allan Nairn on guitar, drums and banjo

- Ross Wilson on keyboard, bass and piano accordion.

BBC Radio Scotland's Take the Floor
Robert and the band consisting of Ewen Henderson on fiddle, Ross Wilson on keyboard and Allan Nairn on drums appeared on BBC Radio Scotland's Take the Floor for the first time on Saturday 5th February. Thank you to everyone for your kind comments about the broadcast. All the band are very much looking forward to their next one which will possibly be this time next year.
